The Owl Bar & Cafe was the prime dining spot in San Antonio. Their specialty was green chile cheeseburgers, just like the Outpost in Carrizozo. I didn't eat at the Owl because I wanted to get to the motel in Socorro before dark. |
At the northern end of the town of Luis Lopez, I crossed my first cattle guard of the trip. |
