Day Fifty-Eight Photos, Part IV

Prescott Valley was a fairly new town, founded more than a decade after Jerome became a " ghost town."

Roberts Marketplace in Prescott Valley was where I ate perhaps the most satisfying lunch on my trip, a ham and cheese sandwich that reinvigorated my tired body.

It was on this mile of highway that a car pulled up alongside me at a stoplight with the guitar solo of Ted Nugent's " Free For All" blasting.

Granite Dells was an impressive outcropping of rock north of Prescott.

The sun was beginning to set, reflecting orange off the rocks.

SR 89 wove between the rocks.

More granite.
