Prescott Photos, Part IV

I didn't enter  the Smoki Museum (dedicated to Native American studies), but I admired its distinctive stone construction.

This  statue called " Early Settlers" was located near my motel.

Dedicated in 1985, this statue was heralded as the first public art work erected in Prescott since the " Rough Rider" statue (see previous page) more than 75 years earlier.

Surely this collection of small offices was once a tourist court.

The Arizona National Guard Armory was an impressive, sturdy-looking and colorful structure.

This close-up shows the medieval-style entryway of the armory.

This great view of the Prescott skyline speaks for itself. Incidentally, there was an advertisement painted on the building on the right for the Gurley Street Grill, where I was heading for lunch.
